We spent last weekend Camping & 4 Wheeling in Co-op Valley with Shane's family & had so much fun!! It was our first overnight outing since we found out Brinley had Diabetes, so needless to say I was a little worried about how it would go over. We brought tons of sugar-free snacks and her blood sugar stayed in a good range all weekend! This trip helped us see that we can still live our "normal" active lives (just with a few more bags, and a few more precautions)!!
Brinley and her cousin Mattie spent the entire weekend side by side. They are so cute together!!
The Hughes Boys!
Me & the girls watching a movie in the Camper (We were really "roughing it", I know)!!
Fun with the Cousins...
Our Fearless Brinley actually WANTED to go down the Zip Line like all the big kids!! I wasn't crazy about the idea, but felt a little better since Shane ran with her, holding the rope the whole way! She loved every minute of it!!! She really has no fear (which of course scares me to death)!!
We had a great time, & there is something so Peaceful about being in the Mountains I just love it... but only for so long, One of the highlights for me was being able to come home & take a Shower!! It definitely makes me grateful for modern day luxuries!

You really are shrinking everytime I see a picture. I bet the diabetes has caused huge adjustments. Atleast you can keep her healthy. I miss camping. There are NO mountains anywhere near here. Maybe when we come to visit we will go out to our cabin. Looks like fun!
how fun!! well i am on chapter 8 now and loving it! well have a good 4th of july tomorrow!!!
Glad to see that Brinley is doing better! It's always nice to get out of the house and have fun after dealing with all of that! I hear you are reading Twilight too! Liking it? yes/no? I'm glad that you and Ashley are finally reading it. It's great! Well, keep us posted on Brinley! She is such a cutie. I need to see you guys, it's been too long! I hope you had a fun nfourth of July!
I am glad you had a fun time camping! That zip cord is awesome!
I am so sorry to hear about Brinley! How scary all of that must have been. My little cousin was diagnosed with diabetes when he was three. It was a lot for them to go through, as I am sure you kow all too well. We'll keep you in our prayers!
Cute blog by the way!!
I've been waiting for you to announce that you were pregnant so I could get on here and say 'CONGRATULATIONS'. I'm so excited for you guys. Hope you are feeling okay.
